About Academy

Academy is a programme designed to launch top graduates from all disciplines into high-impact careers in technology. You'll experience intensive, world-class training and a career fast-track inside a leading technology company.

• Full-spectrum holistic development - our programme combines training in Full Stack software development with leadership and performance coaching
• You'll either receive a salary from your selected employer during your training before raising to software engineering salary upon completion and entry into your team

Our open applications is a chance for you to register your interest in between our opportunities. You'll be among the first to hear about our employer partners and schemes. Please note this application is not for a specific intake or employer.  

The Programme

• Phase One - Prepare - Rapid foundational training in technology (Average of 5 hrs / week based on 6 weeks) - Essential basics required to be completed before moving on to Phase 2
• Phase Two - Build - Fifteen weeks of upfront, full-time training; a transformative experience, with no tuition fees and a salary to support you whilst you study
• Phase Three: Accelerate - Head into the workplace as an entry level software engineer. Ongoing development including mentorship and ongoing support

What We're Looking For

We're looking for people with the potential to form an emerging generation of high-performing leaders in technology. We know that diversity brings real team benefits, so we’re open to a range of backgrounds and experiences. You're likely to be a good fit for our programme if you satisfy most of the below, but this isn’t a checklist of requirements.

• Evidence of high-performance and exceptional achievements in and outside of your studies
• A demonstrable interest in technology and innovation
• A strong desire for rapid growth and learning
• Ambitions to be a leader in tech - you're invested in developing your soft skills, as well as your hard skills

• (Desirable) A commitment to learning in this space - you've attended introductory coding workshops or taught yourself some coding
• (Desirable) A great network - you're a strong advocate for your community and well-connected with your peers

Eligibility

• All degree and professional backgrounds are welcome - except for computer science and related degrees like software engineering and computing.
• You must be willing to relocate within the UK for Phase Three of our programme to the location outlined by your chosen employer.

Our Tech

Today, technologies evolve at rapid pace. Our focus is on reframing how you learn so that you can continue to develop in tandem with these changes. You’ll cover technologies like REACT, TypeScript and SQL but our emphasis will be on empowering you with ideas and skills that transfer beyond a single tech stack.
