Mike McCart

Mike McCart is a seasoned finance professional with over 30 years of experience in investment management and algorithmic trading. Currently serving as a Senior Vice President and Portfolio Manager at Acadian Asset Management since May 2008, Mike specializes in portfolio construction and trading. Prior to this role, Mike held positions at Citigroup as Director of Algorithmic Trading, where Mike developed trading strategies, and at Inference Group, LLC as a Senior Software Engineer/Principal, focusing on trading infrastructure. Additional experience includes roles at Emptoris, ITG, and PTCG, Inc. Mike holds dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Economics with a Finance Concentration from The Wharton School and in Computer Science from the University of Pennsylvania, School of Engineering & Applied Science.
