Annie Byas has held various roles throughout their work experience. Annie started as a Volunteer at Stony Brook University Hospital, where they provided emotional and physical support to patients and families in the Mother/Baby Department.
Annie then worked at Family Residences and Essential Enterprises, Inc., where they started as a Direct Support Personnel, coordinating activities and educating clients on self-awareness and community resources. Annie later became an Assistant Supervisor, overseeing operations and implementing new systems for client documentation.
Annie then moved on to Queens Centers for Progress, where they served as a Medicaid Service Coordinator, delivering case management and promoting service planning for individuals with developmental disabilities. Annie later became a Clinic Records Coordinator, optimizing clinic performance and ensuring maximum compensation for services rendered.
Currently, Annie works at Advance Care Alliance as the Director of Care Management. Annie provides strategic and administrative leadership, manages day-to-day operations, and reviews organizational effectiveness for the healthcare management department.
Annie's work experience demonstrates their ability to take on leadership roles, manage teams, and implement effective systems for improved efficiency and client care.
Annie Byas, BS, MHA, completed their Bachelor's degree in Health Science from Stony Brook University, where they attended from 2005 to 2009. Following this, they pursued their Master's degree in Healthcare Administration at Saint Joseph's University, specializing in the field of Health Care Administration from 2010 to 2012.
