Tammy Cohen has a diverse work experience spanning over several years in various roles. Tammy started their career as a Congressional Intern for Congressman Brad Sherman in the US Congress from September 2004 to May 2005. Following that, they worked as a Government Relations Assistant at Capital Partners Inc from September 2006 to June 2007. In September 2007, they joined George Washington University as an Assistant Director for GW Housing Programs until November 2011.

Subsequently, Tammy joined Bloomberg LP in May 2011 as a Data Analyst and progressed to become a Global Data Lead from May 2014 to June 2016. Tammy managed a team of analysts and vendors, focusing on government contracting data and led initiatives to automate processes and enhance data analysis applications. Tammy also played a role in acquiring and integrating new government data sets.

Tammy then moved to Socrata in July 2016, where they worked as a Senior Program Manager until March 2017. Tammy then transitioned to the role of Technical Consultant Team Lead, which they held until March 2020. During their time at Socrata, they specialized in providing technical consulting services and leading teams to deliver data insight solutions, community building, and data governance plans.

In 2018, Tammy joined Tyler Technologies and took on various roles within the Analytics & Engineering, Data & Insights Division. Tammy started as a Supervisory Team Lead from May 2018 to October 2018 and then became a Manager from October 2018 to March 2020. In their management positions, they oversaw technical consultants and led projects focused on providing cloud data solutions, technical architecture, and implementing methodologies such as Agile and Scrum.

Most recently, Tammy joined Accela in August 2021 as a Senior Product Manager. This role involves taking responsibility for various product management responsibilities within the company.

Throughout their career, Tammy has demonstrated leadership skills, technical expertise in programming languages, cloud platforms, and BI tools, and a strong focus on delivering data-driven solutions to government and international government clients.

Tammy Cohen completed their education at The George Washington University. From 2010 to 2011, they pursued a Master of Professional Studies (M.P.S.) in Political Management. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Criminal Justice from the same university, completing their studies from 2003 to 2007. In addition to their formal education, Tammy Cohen obtained a certification as a Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) from the Scrum Alliance in March 2021.
