Scott McLay has a diverse work experience in the field of SEO and online marketing. Scott is currently serving as the Head of SEO at accelerate agency. Prior to this, they held the same position at Simple Online Healthcare. Scott has also worked as a Growth Marketer - SEO at VEED.IO. Scott has a strong technical background, having served as the Head of Technical SEO at Yard Digital for seven years. Scott has also worked as a Principle SEO Strategist and SEO Manager at Equator. Before that, they served as the Search Team Leader and Online Marketing Executive at Caliberi. Scott's early experience includes working as a Blogger at SearchBloggers.co.uk and an SEO at Dmarkable. Scott also has experience in IT support and web development at Beattie Communications and as a Technical Engineer at Plan 4 IT.

Scott McLay attended Falkirk College from 2001 to 2002, where they pursued a degree in Electronic Engineering. Scott then transferred to Glasgow Caledonian University, where they obtained their HND in Electronic Engineering from 2002 to 2004.
