Jarrel Armster has a range of work experience in various roles and industries. Starting in 2013, they worked as a Human Relations Commission Intern for the City of Riverside, gaining experience in working with constituents and conducting social justice projects. In 2014, they joined ECS Imaging, Inc. as a Sales and Marketing Assistant and later became an Executive Assistant.

In 2014, Jarrel also took on roles at TruEvolution Inc. as the Marketing & Communications Director and Chairman of the Commission on Campus Equality. During their time there, they played a crucial role in rebranding the organization and developing a custom website to handle event registration and check-in.

In 2016, Jarrel founded their own marketing agency called Enverse Design, where they focused on driving membership growth for fitness businesses through paid social media and Google PPC Ads. Jarrel managed a large advertising budget and 13 clients at a time.

In 2018, they became a Commissioner for the Human Relations Commission in the City of Riverside, serving as a city appointee and advocating for equal opportunity and access to services.

Jarrel then joined the Accelerate Change Network in 2020 as a Digital Media Experimenter, contributing to their growth and experimentation efforts. Jarrel later became the Director of Strategic Advancement at TruEvolution Inc. in 2021 before transitioning to their current role as the Director of Growth at the Accelerate Change Network in 2022.

Jarrel Armster completed their high school education at Oakwood Adventist Academy from 2006 to 2010. Later, they attended La Sierra University from 2010 to 2015, earning a Bachelor's Degree in Political Economy with a minor in Legal Studies, as well as studying Spanish. In 2013, they also briefly studied Economics at Universidad Católica de Valencia San Vicente Mártir. Additionally, Armster obtained a Diploma de Español como lengua Extranjera: Nivel C1 from Instituto Cervantes in August 2012 and a Direct-Response Copywriting Specialist certification from DigitalMarketer.
