Luis Rivas

Luis Rivas has a diverse work experience, ranging from roles in finance and operations to program management and volunteer coordination. In their current role as Vice President of Finance and Operations at Accelerate Change Network, they are responsible for overseeing financial and operational aspects of the organization. Prior to that, they served as the Executive Director of the Gulf Coast Region at Comp-U-Dopt, Inc, where they managed programs and operations. Luis also held positions at Covenant House Texas as a Volunteer Services Coordinator and at Volunteer Houston as a Senior Manager of Strategic Initiatives and a Program Manager. Overall, Luis Rivas has a strong background in nonprofit management and a passion for making a difference in the community.

Luis Rivas obtained their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a focus on Business Administration and Management, General from Texas A&M University. Luis attended the university from 1991 to 1995.
