Rita Boukamel

Rita Boukamel is an experienced executive in the diagnostics industry, currently serving as Senior Vice President and General Manager for Accelerate Diagnostics in the Middle East, Turkey, and Africa since March 2016. Rita holds a strong background as the Head of the EMEA Distributors business at Accelerate Diagnostics. Prior to this role, Rita was Business Director at GE Healthcare from March 2011 to March 2016, focusing on developing the Molecular Pathology Clarient Business in the EMEA region. Rita's earlier experience includes serving as Regional Business Manager at Roche Diagnostics and holding various management positions in Customer Services and Sales at VENTANA MEDICAL SYSTEM from June 1994 to March 2008. Rita's educational credentials include a Post-doctorat in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from ETH Zürich and a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Strasbourg.
