Richard Danielson

Richard Danielson has been in the field of environmental health microbiology since 1995. Richard began their career at BioVir Labs as Lab Director and Vice President. In 2019, they joined Accelerated Technology Laboratories, Inc. as a Senior Sales Account Executive. Later that same year, they founded Danielson Applied Consulting, where they currently serve as Principal CEO. In this role, they have developed and applied bio-technology (PCR, ELISA, monoclonal antibodies, plasmid analysis, etc.), provided information and consultation on agents of bioterrorism, given expert testimony in environmental microbial contamination cases, and established certified environmental microbiological testing laboratories.

Richard Danielson obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology & Chemistry from the University of San Diego College of Arts and Sciences between 1974 and 1978. Richard then went on to receive a Master of Arts degree in Microbiology, General from California State University, Fullerton between 1978 and 1980. Lastly, they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Environmental and Public Health Microbiology from the University of California, Berkeley between 1981 and 1989.
