Deepali Gotur has worked in the field of biochemistry since 2007. Deepali began their career as a Summer Intern at Biogen Idec in 2007, where they worked in the Tumor & Oncology Department researching a potential new anti-cancer agent. In 2008, they took on the role of Contract Research Investigator at Infinity Pharmaceuticals, where they screened chemical analogs as enzyme inhibitors as cancer therapeutics using fluorescent enzyme inhibitor and enzyme kinetic assays, and conducted protein expression studies in cancer cells using western blotting and ELISA. From 2009-2010, they held the roles of Contractor/Research Associate at Seaside Therapeutics and Research Associate at Boston Medical Center/MIT Medical Center. In 2010, Deepali joined Forma Therapeutics as a Principal Research Associate - Lead Discovery and Optimization, where they were responsible for planning and executing projects. Deepali also held the roles of Senior Research Associate - Biomolecular Screening and Research Associate-Hit to Lead. In 2018, Deepali moved to Tango Therapeutics as a Scientist II. Most recently, they have been working as Senior Scientist and Lead Discovery at Accent Therapeutics, Inc. since 2020.
Deepali Gotur obtained a Master of Science degree in Biotechnology from the University of Massachusetts Lowell in 2008 and a Master of Science degree in MicroBiology from the University of Mumbai in 2006.
