David Wood

David Wood has extensive experience in technology consulting, having served at Accenture from January 1997 to March 2024, culminating in the role of Senior Managing Director - Global Lead for Technology Consulting. In this capacity, David led initiatives to align business ambitions with technological advancements, focusing on areas such as distributed cloud, AI, and infrastructure modernization. Previously, as Senior Managing Director - Global Strategy Lead for Cloud First Business, David was responsible for formulating strategies to position Accenture as a leader in cloud and digital transformation. Additionally, David founded the Health Industry Cloud Practice, driving healthcare innovation through cloud-native technologies. David holds a BA in Management/Information Systems from the University of Colorado Boulder, earned in May 1997.
