Zakari Ahmadu, MBA, CIFE™ has a diverse range of work experience spanning various industries and roles. From 2001 to 2003, they served as an IT Manager at Initiative for Grassroot Advancement, where they handled hardware and software troubleshooting and maintained the organization's website. In 2005, they joined Servernet Technologies as the Head Graphic Artist, contributing to the company's design work until 2007.

From 2008 to 2009, Zakari served as the Production & Processing Manager at United Nigeria Grown, where they managed production and processing operations. In 2009, they briefly worked as the Chief Technology Officer at Initiative for Grassroot Advancement.

In 2010, Zakari co-founded Digital Core Nigeria, an online platform that offers strategic management consultancy services. The platform has been active since then, allowing Zakari to utilize their expertise in strategic management.

In 2011, Zakari took on the role of Deputy Head Teacher at Sanusi Dantata Memorial School, overseeing various departments and acting as the school and PTA secretary until 2015.

In 2015, Zakari joined Sigma Pensions Ltd, initially serving as a Branch Manager before progressing to roles such as Head- Business Development (Coverage), Product Manager Duplicate Accounts, and Team Lead Relationship Management. Zakari played a key role in securing client funds and coordinating teams across Northern Nigeria. In 2016, Zakari became the HEAD-Business Development, Relationship Management, and Branch Operations, where they oversaw the relationship management of a customer base of over 680,000 and implemented business growth strategies.

Since 2018, Zakari has been a Member of the Board of Advisors at BoldAge Consult, focusing on strategic management consultancy services and addressing human and institutional capacity deficit.

In 2022, Zakari joined Access Pensions as a Senior Business Development Manager, where they are responsible for driving business growth and development.

Throughout their career, Zakari Ahmadu has demonstrated strong leadership, strategic thinking, and business development skills, contributing to the success of the organizations they have worked with. Zakari Ahmadu holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Marketing from Ahmadu Bello University, where they studied from 2016 to 2018. Prior to that, from 2003 to 2007, they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Education (BSc Ed) degree in Agriculture from the same university. Zakari Ahmadu has also acquired additional certifications, including being a Certified Islamic Finance Executive (CIFE™) from the Ethica Institute of Islamic Finance in November 2021. Zakari completed the Complete Digital Marketing Course 12 Courses in 1 from Udemy in April 2021. Other certifications include ones in digital strategy formulation, digital transformation and Industry 4.0, design thinking for innovation, digital transformation, financial markets, Islamic finance and banking, investment foundations, strategy and sustainability, and Google Analytics. Additionally, they hold a Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria certification from June 2011.
