Dr. Kamille A. Garness is a medical professional with a diverse background in public health and clinical experience. Currently serving as a Communicable Disease Investigator and Medical Specialist at Lifepoint Health® since August 2020, Dr. Garness previously held the position of Regional Duty Officer and Disaster Responder with the American Red Cross until September 2023. Additional experiences include medical student internships at Weiss Memorial Hospital and Larkin Community Hospital, as well as volunteer work in the emergency room at Miami Children's Health System. Dr. Garness holds a Master of Public Health in Global Health from The George Washington University and a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Saint Leo University. Early career roles included coaching swimming and working as a medical lab assistant, demonstrating a commitment to health and education since medical training began at Spartan Health Sciences University in 2013.
