Ellie Atkins

Ellie Atkins is a dedicated medical assistant at Access Sports Medicine & Orthopaedics, contributing to patient care alongside surgeons and physicians since August 2020. Previously, Ellie served as an emergency department technician at Gunnison Valley Health, aiding in high-acuity patient care from February 2017 to June 2020. Ellie also has extensive experience as a ski patrol member, ensuring guest safety and providing medical care at Crested Butte Mountain Resort while registered as a state and national EMT. In addition to healthcare roles, Ellie showcased leadership as the head coach for the Western Colorado University Mountain Bike Team, guiding the team to its first national title in a decade. Ellie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with a focus on marketing from Western Colorado University.
