Ed Simmerson

Ed Simmerson began their work experience in 1998 as a Software Engineer at Lockheed Martin Mission Systems. Ed held various roles of increasing responsibility, such as Staff Software Engineer and Senior Associate Software Engineer. Ed'sduties included software development for a project worth over $300 million, serving as a member of the Architecture Configuration Control Board for the entire GPS project, and leading multiple projects involving network design, installation, and configuration. Simmerson also had a high degree of client interaction, including presenting to clients and testing with their operational satellites and ground station equipment. In 2000, Simmerson joined accesso as Vice President of Architecture.

Ed Simmerson earned their Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Environmental Engineering Technology/Environmental Technology from Cal Poly Humboldt between 1990 and 1995. Ed then went on to pursue a Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder from 1995 to 1997.
