Andrey Babak, CPA

Andrey Babak, CPA has extensive work experience in finance and business intelligence. Andrey started their career in 2010 as a Staff Accountant at National Planning Holdings, Inc., where they managed revenue streams and implemented automation measures. Andrey then became a Financial Analyst, forecasting firm assets under management and assisting with Excel functionality and General Ledger. As a Senior Financial Analyst, Andrey generated consolidated annual plans and led process improvements. Andrey later became the Manager of Finance & Reporting, leading a team of analysts and developing a global business model for forecasting. At gorjana, Andrey served as the Director of Business Intelligence, overseeing analytics platform procurement, process improvement, and reporting. Andrey supported the CFO in budgeting, forecasting, and analysis. Currently, Andrey is working at Accion Opportunity Fund, where they have held various roles, including Senior Business Intelligence Data Scientist, Director of Business Intelligence, and currently, Senior Director of Business Intelligence & Reporting.

Andrey Babak, CPA, obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from San Diego State University between the years 2006 and 2010. In addition to their degree, they have obtained the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from the California Board of Accountancy in December 2013. Andrey also obtained the Series 7 certification from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority in March 2014.
