Aart Balk

Aart Balk has over 20 years of experience in the field of design and creative services. Aart currently serves as the Head of Design at Acclaro, a position they have held since March 2019. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of UX & UI at Skyword Inc. from April 2018 to January 2019. Aart also served as the VP Creative Services at Flying Cork in February 2018 and as the Interactive Creative Director at Flying Cork Media from August 2014 to January 2018. Before that, they held the role of Interactive Creative Director at EDMC from July 2010 to August 2014, and Manager of Web and Multimedia at Acclaro from March 2008 to July 2010. Aart has also worked in various creative and design roles at Mullen, EDMC OHE, The Abreon Group, and SafeStone Technologies, Inc. Throughout their career, they have worked with notable clients such as Whirlpool, Proctor & Gamble, GAP Inc., General Electric (GE), and Siemens.

Aart Balk attended Marnix College Ede from 1978 to 1985, although no degree or field of study is specified. Following this, they enrolled in Utrecht University from 1985 to 1992, where they pursued a Master's degree in Literary Theory and Criticism.
