Monica Shumway has worked in various roles since 2008. Monica began their career at Apollo Education Group as a Senior Admissions Team Lead and Level II Student Advisor. In 2018, they moved to Central Arizona College, where they were a Coordinator III. In 2019, they became the Branch Manager at Land Link. Currently, they are a Project Manager at Acclivity Health Solutions, Inc.

Monica Shumway obtained a Bachelor of Science in Project Management from the University of Phoenix in 2011 and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix in 2014. Additionally, they obtained an Insurance Agent certification from the Arizona Department of Insurance and Financial Institutions in December 2019, and a Real Estate License from the Arizona Department of Real Estate in December 2019.
