Christine Smith

Christine Smith has over 20 years of work experience in compliance and sustainability roles. Christine started their career at Kohler Co. as an Industrial Hygienist from 1998 to 2000. Christine then joined MeadWestvaco and held various positions, including Manager of Factory Compliance Certification and Director of Compliance Programs. In these roles, they oversaw compliance audits and developed corrective action plans for factories. Since 2012, Christine has been working at ACCO Brands, where they have served as the Director of Global Social Responsibility & Sustainability and currently holds the position of Sr. Director, Global Compliance & Ethics. In these roles, they have been responsible for developing and implementing compliance programs, ensuring audits are completed, and overseeing remediation for compliance issues.

Christine Smith, CCEP, holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Environmental Health and Safety, which they obtained from Colorado State University from 1996 to 1998. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Industrial Hygiene from Ohio University between 1992 and 1996. Additionally, Christine Smith has obtained the certification of Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional from the Compliance Certification Board in 2016.
