EVP, General Counsel & Chief Compliance Officer at Accolade

Rich Eskew is executive vice president, general counsel and chief compliance officer at Accolade, as well as the company’s corporate secretary. Since joining Accolade in 2015, Eskew has provided legal and compliance oversight of Accolade’s substantial growth, initial public offering, merger & acquisitions, and launch of several new offerings. In his roles, Eskew is responsible for ensuring that Accolade operates as a compliant and ethical organization that effectively manages risk. With trust and privacy at the core Accolade’s services and solutions, he focuses on maintaining a world-class compliance and privacy program.

Prior to Accolade, Eskew served as Executive Director of Corporate Legal and Compliance for Nomura Holding America, the North American division of the Global Japanese Wholesale and Investment Bank, and its subsidiary Instinet. In this role, he led data protection and privacy compliance efforts and negotiated key technology transactions for both Nomura America and Instinet. Previously, Eskew was Special Counsel in the Manhattan law firm of Stroock & Stroock & Lavan LLP, where he helped his clients close deals, litigate technology and IP disputes, and comply with various data protection regulations. Eskew is a registered patent attorney and has filed hundreds of patent applications for his clients in several industries, including financial services.

Rich Eskew earned his Juris Doctorate from Fordham University School of Law, and holds an Engineering degree from Manhattan College.
