Ben King has a diverse work experience in the football industry. Ben started working as a Casual Coach at Watford Football Club in 2008 and continued in that role until 2013. From 2012 to 2013, they also worked as a Soccer Coach at UK-Elite-Soccer. In 2014, they joined Coventry City Football Club as an Academy Coach and Disability Development Officer, and they stayed in that position until 2015. From 2015 to 2017, they worked at Shrewsbury Town Football Club as a Professional Phase Technical Coach and Lead Foundation Phase Coach. In 2017, they moved to Walsall Football Club Limited, where they held the role of First Team Data Analyst and Academy Professional Development Phase Coach until April 2023. Currently, they are the Head of Coaching and Player Development at Accrington Stanley Football Club.

Ben King's education history includes earning a Master of Science (MS) degree in Performance Coaching from the University of Stirling. Ben attended the university from 2017 to 2019.
