Brenda Bland

Brenda Bland began their work experience as a Biology Instructor at Upper Iowa University in 1996, where they taught Freshman Biology and delivered lectures on various topics. Brenda then worked as an Applications Specialist at Lunar Corp. from 1997 to 2000. In 2001, they joined GE Healthcare Lunar as a Support Lead, where they guided and mentored Applications Specialists, provided field engineer training, and supported and serviced all product lines. In 2007, they transitioned to GE-Healthcare and held multiple roles, including Product Surveillance Specialist, Product Surveillance Lead, and eventually, Product Surveillance Leader. In these positions, they managed complaint handling, developed data mining and coding processes, ensured compliance with regulations, and supported audits. Brenda then joined Accuray in 2019 as a Product Surveillance Manager, leading a team in complaint handling and maintaining compliance with regulations. Currently, Brenda Bland is working as a Yoga Teacher at Yogatogo, starting in 2022.

Brenda Bland obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from Earlham College from 1983 to 1984. Following that, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Biology at Ball State University from 1985 to 1987.

Additionally, Brenda has acquired several certifications throughout their career. Brenda obtained Wilderness First Aid certification from NOLS Wilderness Medicine in March 2017. In December 2016, they completed a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training through Mound Street Yoga, certified by Yoga Alliance. Brenda also holds a Green Belt certification from Six Sigma, obtained in September 2002, as well as an A+ certification from CompTIA, acquired in January 1997.
