Karen Carr

Karen Carr has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Karen began their career in 2005 as a Radiotherapy Radiographer at The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust. Karen then progressed to the role of Band 7 Pre-Treatment Radiotherapy Radiographer, followed by Band 8a Operational Lead Pre-Treatment Radiotherapy Radiographer. In 2015, they worked as a Community Champion at Macmillan Cancer Support.

In 2019, Karen joined Elekta as a Clinical Validation and Pilot Release Specialist, where they remained until January 2021.

Currently, Karen is working at Accuray, where they started as a Consultant in May 2021, before being promoted to the role of Global Content Marketing Manager in September 2021. Their tenure at Accuray is ongoing.

Karen Carr obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Radiation Therapy from St Georges Medical School in London. Karen attended this school from 2002 to 2005. Following their undergraduate degree, they pursued a Master's degree in Oncology Management from St Georges Medical School. Karen completed this program from 2009 to 2012.
