Melanie Rea Rivers

Melanie Rea Rivers, SPHR, currently serves as SVP and Chief Human Resources Officer at Accuray since May 2021, following a tenure as Vice President of Global Human Resources at Genus PLC. Previously, Melanie held various leadership roles at Amcor Flexibles, including Human Resources Director for North America, where responsibilities encompassed talent management, performance management, and organizational development across multiple manufacturing facilities. Additional experience includes positions at Spectrum Brands, Briggs & Stratton, and Randstad, focusing on human resources functions in diverse industrial environments. Educational achievements include a Master's Degree in Human Resources and Employment Relations from Penn State University and a Bachelor's Degree in German and Political Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
