Jordi Sorribes

Jordi Sorribes has worked in the IT field for over a decade. From 2011 to 2013, they worked at Accure Therapeutics as an IT Manager, responsible for designing, setting up, and maintaining the IT infrastructure. From 2013 to the present, they have been a freelance web application developer, designing and programming web-based e-commerce sites with Wordpress and Woocommerce. From 2006 to 2011, they worked at Nokia Siemens Networks as a Software Developer, designing and developing GMPLS software for large capacity SDH nodes, performing tests, coordinating with colleagues from China, and providing knowledge transfer and support during their stay in Shanghai. From 2002 to 2006, they worked at CTTC: Centre Tecnològic de Telecomunicacions de Catalunya as a Software Developer/Research Engineer, designing and developing GMPLS software for an experimental ASON (Automatically Switched Optical Network) and participating in various national and international research projects. Jordi also assembled the test-bed.

Jordi Sorribes completed their Ingeniero Superior de Telecomunicaciones degree from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya in 2003, and has since studied Ingeniería Superior de Telecomunicaciones at UPC - ETSETB TelecomBCN.
