Steve Brooks

Steve Brooks is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in developing and maintaining software systems across various industries. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer II at Accusoft since 2007, Steve specializes in RESTful APIs and microservices architecture using Javascript and Node. Previous positions include roles at Centice, where analytical instrument control software was developed, and Varian, Inc., focused on client-server systems for pharmaceutical instruments. Notable contributions also include software development for NASA's X-38 program and working on hurricane simulation applications for FEMA. Steve holds a B.S. in Physics with dual minors in Mathematics and Computer Science from Appalachian State University.
