Wendy Looker

Wendy Looker has a diverse work experience in the field of music. Wendy started working as the Artistic Director for Piedmont Chamber Singers in June 2010 and held the position until May 2015. In 2019, they became the President of North Carolina ACDA (American Choral Directors Association). Prior to that, in 2003, they joined Guilford College as a Professor of Music and later became an Associate Professor. Wendy'smost recent work experience is as the Director of Music for Eno River Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, since May 2022.

Wendy Looker's educational journey began in 1993 when they enrolled at SUNY Geneseo. Wendy graduated in 1997 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Vocal Performance. Following their undergraduate studies, Wendy pursued further education at the University of Michigan from 1997 to 1999, where they obtained their Master of Music degree with a specialization in Conducting, focusing on Choral Emphasis. Not stopping there, Wendy continued their academic pursuits at Indiana University Bloomington from 1999 to 2008. During this time, they earned a Doctor of Music degree in Choral Conducting.
