Hiba Bhatty

Hiba Bhatty is a Co-Founder of Rare Bird Foundation since November 2023 and has been with Valerio Dewalt Train as Architect II and DEI Founder since November 2015. Hiba also serves as Senior Design Manager at ACE Mentor Chicago, fostering opportunities for minority designers while receiving national accolades. Previous experience includes working as a Design Manager at Yale University, where affordable housing projects were developed in collaboration with community leaders, and as an Architect at Patriquin Architects, noted for designing a LEED-certified early education center and rehabilitating a historic hotel. Hiba holds a Master of Architecture degree from Yale University and a Bachelor of Science in Architecture with a minor in Urban Planning from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, along with additional academic experience at Princeton University.
