Laura Allerston

Laura Allerston serves as the Head of Grants and Research at Aceleron since May 2018, leading initiatives in advanced lithium battery technology to promote sustainable energy solutions across multiple regions, including the UK, Caribbean, and East Africa. Previously, Laura held the position of Doctoral Researcher at the University of Birmingham from September 2014 to September 2018, focusing on non-platinum catalysts for hydrogen fuel cells in partnership with Amalyst Ltd. Earlier roles include Research and Development Scientist at Albert Browne Limited and R&D Assistant at Reckitt Benckiser, contributing to product development for major household brands. Laura holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Birmingham and an MChem in Chemistry with Nanotechnology from the University of Hull.
