Hans Helmrich

Hans Helmrich has a diverse and extensive work experience. Hans started their career in 1995 at Johnson Controls Automotive, where they held various roles including Sales Director and Director of Product Planning and Business Development. In 2001, they became the General Manager of Webasto in Iberia. From 2002 to 2006, they worked at Johnson Controls Automotive again, this time as the General Plant Manager and General Manager of Product Planning and Business Development.

In 2006, Helmrich joined Saica Group as a Group Director of R&D&i, a position they held until 2013. Following that, they moved to Cooper Standard, where they held several leadership positions including Vice President of Operations in Europe, Vice President of Operations in North America, and ultimately SVP and Chief Global Manufacturing Officer until 2020.

In 2020, Helmrich became the Chief Operating Officer at Acerinox, a global leader in the stainless steel market. Additionally, in 2021, they joined Fortia Energia and took on various chairmanship roles at Columbus Stainless (Pty) Ltd, Bahru Stainless Sdn Bhd, and Acerinox Europa SA. Throughout their career, Helmrich has demonstrated their expertise in manufacturing operations, product planning, business development, and leadership.

Hans Helmrich has a diverse education history spanning several years. Hans began their educational journey in 1974 at Colegio Alemán Zaragoza, where they completed their Graduado Escolar y Bachillerato. After completing their secondary education, they went on to pursue a degree in Business Administration at Universidad Pontificia Comillas from 1991 to 1994. Following this, they attended IE Business School in 1996-1997, where they obtained a Master's degree in Sales & Marketing, specifically an MBA. In 2012, Hans enrolled in ESIC Business & Marketing School, undertaking a program called "Programa Superior De Liderazgo Innovador y Coaching Estratégico" focused on Organizational Leadership and Coaching. Throughout their education, Hans Helmrich has demonstrated a commitment to acquiring a breadth of knowledge in various fields.
