Richard Lai

Richard Lai has a diverse work experience in various roles in the pharmaceutical industry. Richard is currently working as an Associate Director of Biospecimen Operations at Acerta Pharma B.V. (a member of the AstraZeneca Group) since 2019. Prior to that, they worked at Celgene from 2013 to 2018 as a Biospecimen Operations Specialist II, where they were responsible for managing biospecimen logistics and liaising with scientists and clinical teams. Before that, they worked at Genentech from 2003 to 2012, holding roles such as BioSample Support Coordinator and GMP Glassware Technician. In these roles, they worked closely with various internal and external groups and ensured proper sample management for clinical studies.

From 2000 to 2003, Richard Lai studied at DeVry University and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Networking.
