Jeffrey Thorslund has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Jeffrey started their career as an Autocad Draftsman at ProSlide Technology Inc., where they used AutoCAD software to create 3D drawings and operated a 3D printer for scale models. Jeffrey then worked as a Wetland Reclamation Technician at Timberwolf Planting, where they restored wetland ecosystems and managed a team of technicians.

In 2017, Jeffrey took on the role of Whitewater Raft Guide at Chilliwack River Rafting and also worked as a Tree Planter at Coast Range Contracting Ltd. In the same year, they became involved in academic leadership at Carleton University Students' Association, Inc., serving as the CUSA Clubs and Societies Commissioner. Jeffrey coordinated events and training for clubs and societies, mediated conflicts, and implemented improvements based on student feedback.

In 2019, Jeffrey worked at the Canadian Coast Guard/Garde côtière canadienne as an Environmental Response Specialist, where they responded to marine oil spills, conducted monitoring and assessments, and created spill prediction models using ArcGIS. Jeffrey then transitioned to the role of Web Developer at Eulogato, where they developed a tool for assisted eulogy writing and increased automated content variety, resulting in a significant increase in user engagement.

From 2020 to 2022, Jeffrey worked at Semios as a Javascript Developer, focusing on developing an API and front-end client for agricultural technology applications. Jeffrey'swork involved planning, installing, and maintaining IoT devices in farmers' fields. Currently, they are a Full Stack Engineer at Acerta, starting in 2023.

Jeffrey Thorslund obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science from Carleton University, where they pursued their studies from 2014 to 2019.
