Kara-Anne Fraser has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Kara-Anne currently works as a UX Manager at Achievers since 2021. Previously, they worked at Intelex Technologies as a User Experience Manager from 2018 to 2021, where they led a team of UX designers and researchers, facilitated communication between designers and departments, and defined process flows for lean UX and agile. Before that, they served as a Senior User Experience Designer and User Experience Designer at Ceridian from 2015 to 2018, where they integrated users into the design cycle, collaborated with project managers and developers, and oversaw all visual design stages. Additionally, they worked at Workopolis as a User Experience Engineer from 2010 to 2015, at Telstra as a Web Designer in 2009, at The Shopping Channel as a Web Designer from 2005 to 2008, at Goway Travel as a Web Designer from 2003 to 2005, and at Owens Art Gallery as an Intern from 2002 to 2003. Throughout their career, Kara-Anne has demonstrated their expertise in UX research, strategy, design, and leadership.

Kara-Anne Fraser has a diverse education history. Kara-Anne pursued a Graphic Arts Diploma in Interpretive Illustration from Sheridan College from 1999 to 2001. Prior to that, they obtained a BFA from Mount Allison University from 1994 to 1997, with a major in Drawing and a minor in Art History. In addition to their formal education, Kara-Anne Fraser has also acquired several certifications. Kara-Anne completed the Foundations program at Pragmatic Institute in July 2020. In February 2020, they obtained the Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM) certification from Scrum Alliance. Before that, in November 2019, they received the Pragmatic Management Certified - (PMC-I) certification from Pragmatic Institute, which combines Pragmatic Marketing and TDI.
