Susan Judge

IT Project Manager at Achilles Group Limited

Susan Judge has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Starting in 1993, they worked as a Computational Fluid Dynamics Engineer at Bechtel Engineering until 1995. Susan then joined AEA Technology and served as a CFD Engineer from 1995 to 1999. Later, they became a Support Manager for the Computational Fluid Dynamics Package (CFX), where they provided support and training for academic and commercial customers.

In 2004, Susan worked as a Charity Administrator for Pelvic Partnership, providing support and information about pelvic girdle pain. Susan also helped with fundraising efforts for the charity. From 2005 to 2006, they were a Quality Assurance Analyst at ANSYS, Inc., where they conducted software testing and installation for a new product release within the software development department.

Susan's next role was User Office Manager at Diamond Light Source, where they were responsible for leading, managing, and developing the User Office, ensuring a positive and productive experience for users. Susan also coordinated and integrated its operations with other relevant groups. Susan set long-term objectives and implemented new systems and tools to achieve them. Susan remained in this role until July 2016.

Finally, Susan joined Achilles Information Limited in 2017 as an IT Project Manager.

Susan Judge earned a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics from Coventry University, where they studied from 1988 to 1992. Following this, they pursued a Master's Degree in Computational Fluid Dynamics at the University of Leeds from 1992 to 1993. In terms of certifications, they obtained the Prince 2 Foundation certification from AXELOS Global Best Practice in December 2017 and the Prince 2 Practitioner certification from the same institution in February 2018. Additionally, Susan holds the Professional Scrum Master 1 certification from Scrum.org, although no specific dates for its attainment are provided.
