Ivo van der Veen

Ivo van der Veen has a diverse and extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Ivo started their career in 2003 at Aegon, where they worked in risk management. Ivo then joined Aegon Asset Management in 2004 as a portfolio manager for equity derivatives, specializing in options and other financial exotics. In 2006, they transitioned to Aegon as a consultant in business development, providing tailor-made solutions for corporate and institutional clients. Ivo then became the head of institutional account management at Aegon Nederland from 2011 to 2012.

In 2013, Ivo joined Deloitte and worked in financial risk management until 2018. During this time, they gained valuable experience and expertise in this field. In 2017, they briefly worked as a part-time lecturer in risk management at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.

In 2018, they joined Achmea Investment Management as a business development director. In this role, they provided consultative advice to institutional clients and pension funds, focusing on increasing sales effectiveness through consulting approach, innovation, and team building.

Most recently, in 2021, Ivo became the Penningmeester Bestuurder (treasurer) of Vereniging Pensioen Valley, demonstrating their continued involvement and commitment in the pension industry.

To further enhance their professional qualifications, Ivo also obtained a certification in Applied Responsible Investment from the PRI Academy in October 2022.
