Yihchih Shern

Yihchih Shern has a strong background in program and project management, with extensive experience in the technology industry. Yihchih worked as a Senior Program Manager at Achronix Semiconductor Corporation from 2017 to the present. Prior to that, they held various roles at Ericsson, including Senior R&D Program Manager and Senior R&D Project Manager, where they led multiple programs and projects in product development. Yihchih also served as a Senior Manager of Software Engineering, leading the B-RAS/AAA software engineering organization. Earlier in their career, Shern worked as a Software Engineer at Redback Networks, where they designed and developed functionalities for broadband routers. Yihchih also worked as a Firmware Engineer at Sony Electronics, providing support and maintenance for tape drive products, and as a New Product Development Engineer at Honeywell MicroSwitch Division, where they developed embedded firmware for intelligent I/O devices.

Yihchih Shern's education history includes a Master of Science (MS) degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, which was obtained from 1992 to 1995. Prior to that, from 1990 to 1992, Yihchih Shern pursued another MS degree in General Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Yihchih Shern's undergraduate education was centered around Electrical Engineering, as indicated by a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree obtained from the University of Rochester, which took place from 1986 to 1990.

In addition to formal education, Yihchih Shern also holds a certification as a Certified Scrum Master, which was obtained from the Scrum Alliance in February 2014.
