Sascha Quinten

Sascha Quinten has a diverse work experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with their most recent position being the Head of Science and Technology at Acino from April 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Novartis for over 17 years, holding various roles such as Global Project Team Leader, Manager of Commercial Aseptic Filling Operations, Head of QA Compliance PharmOps Steriles & BoE, and Senior Strategic QA Manager. Sascha'sresponsibilities included leading cross-functional teams, ensuring compliance with cGMPs and regulatory requirements, managing clean room manufacturing areas, and driving quality initiatives and projects. Sascha Quinten also has experience in analytical project leadership, laboratory management, and validation of analytical methods.

Sascha Quinten received a PhD in Analytical Chemistry from the Universität des Saarlandes from 2003 to 2006. Prior to that, Quinten earned a Dipl.-Chem. degree in Chemistry from the same university from 2000 to 2003. Before attending the Universität des Saarlandes, Quinten completed an intermediate exam in Chemistry from Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz from 1997 to 2000. In addition to these educational achievements, Quinten obtained an IQP Silver Certification in 2013.
