Desmond Koh, IHRP-SP

Desmond Koh, IHRP-SP has over 8 years of experience in Human Resources. Desmond began their career in 2013 at Asian Detours Pte Ltd as an HR & Training Coordinator. In 2014, they joined GE as an HR Operations Specialist, where they were recognized three times for their excellence and outstanding business partnering. In 2019, they moved to Schneider Electric as a Senior Human Resources Specialist, providing HR services to 600 employees across three entities. In 2020, they joined Livspace as a Senior Human Resources Partner, where they acted as a trusted partner in attracting, developing, motivating and retaining the best talent, and grew the company headcount by 70%. Desmond is currently the Head of People and Culture at Ackcio since 2021.

Desmond Koh obtained a Master's Degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology and Human Resource Management from Baruch College between 2014 and 2015. Desmond received a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from The University of Western Australia between 2008 and 2012. Prior to that, they obtained a Diploma in Pharmaceutical Science and Technology from Temasek Polytechnic between 2001 and 2004. In addition to their academic qualifications, Desmond has obtained three professional certifications: Agility in HR from NTUC LearningHub in February 2022, Certified HR Business Partner from AIHR | Academy to Innovate HR in August 2021, and IHRP-SP from the Institute for Human Resource Professionals (IHRP) in September 2022.
