Ellie Rose

Ellie Rose is a dedicated mental health professional with extensive experience in therapy and education, currently serving as the Business Owner at Cocoon Mental Health since August 2021, where therapy is tailored for young people transitioning into adulthood. In addition to providing 1-1 therapy sessions, Ellie offers professional development for peers and maintains a free online resource library. Since February 2024, Ellie has also held the position of Lecturer at Acknowledge Education. Previously, Ellie worked as a Counsellor and Psychotherapist at The Indigo Project AU from November 2021 to December 2023, specializing in family-based trauma, grief, and youth issues. Ellie's experience includes being a Sessional Academic Teacher at the Australian College of Applied Psychology, and a Youth and Family Counsellor at KYDS Youth Development Service Inc, where strategies were developed to support young clients and their families. Ellie holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Wollongong, a Master's degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy from The University of Notre Dame Australia, and another Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Leeds.
