Massimiliano Pappalardo

Massimiliano Pappalardo is a distinguished legal professional and partner at Ughi e Nunziante - Studio Legale since May 2019. As a co-founder of AIRIA - Associazione Regolazione Intelligenza Artificiale since February 2024, Pappalardo has been actively involved in the regulation of artificial intelligence. Additionally, Pappalardo serves as an equity partner at Moffu Labs 2 and co-chairman of the Milan Chapter for OneTrust PrivacyConnect. Pappalardo's previous roles include membership on the European Advisory Board of the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) from January 2020 to December 2021 and co-chairman of the Milan KnowledgeNet Chapter from January 2014 to December 2017. With extensive experience in IP/IT and data protection practices, Pappalardo has held partner positions at D&P - Legal Support for Ideas and La Scala Studio Legale e Tributario, among others. Pappalardo holds a Master’s degree in IT Law from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna and a Law degree from Università degli Studi di Milano.
