Steve Meissel has extensive experience in the sales and business development field. Steve started their career in 1991 as a Director of Business Development at Scientific Atlanta, where they were responsible for project management, technical sales support, and operations support. During their time there, the company was sold to Cisco Systems.

In 2002, Meissel joined Aclara where they held various leadership roles. Steve started as a VP of Customer Program Management, overseeing account management, customer service, and training departments. Steve also managed the project management group for implementation of AMI network deployments. During their tenure, they successfully introduced new maintenance and support offerings, developed a customer portal, and significantly improved customer loyalty.

In 2008, Meissel took on the role of VP of International Business Development at Aclara. Steve developed strategic partnerships with global product and solution providers, leading to increased sales at existing accounts and new account penetration. Steve also assisted the global sales team and channel partners to close deals.

In 2016, Meissel transitioned to the role of Sr. Director of Enterprise Accounts at Aclara, where they became the sales lead for Latin American accounts, with a focus on the Caribbean region. Steve consistently exceeded sales quotas and added new accounts to the company.

Steve Meissel received their B.S.E.E. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University at Buffalo School of Engineering and Applied Sciences in 1975. From 2015 to 2020, they attended the UNH Franklin Pierce School of Law, where they obtained a Masters of Intellectual Property with a specialization in Intellectual Property Law.
