Cristina Soto has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Cristina began their career in 2004 as an HR Analyst at Gobierno del Estado de Guanajuato, where they were responsible for payroll reporting, HRIS management, recruitment, legal compliance, and performance management. Cristina also conducted safety training presentations and workshops. After working at Faurecia as an HR Generalist, they joined Winplus North America Inc. as an EDI Coordinator. Cristina then worked as an Administrative Coordinator at Discovery Seminars LA. In 2016, they joined Interfaith Ministries for Greater Houston, where they held roles such as HR Specialist, HR Generalist, and Engagement & Talent Manager. Most recently, they worked at the ACLU of Texas, starting as an HRIS Analyst and progressing to HR Manager, Senior People Operations Manager, and currently Deputy Director of People Operations.
Cristina Soto holds a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Non-Profit Management from the University of Houston-Downtown, which they obtained from 2018 to 2020. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Business Management, specializing in Business Administration and Management, from Universidad de Guanajuato between 2001 and 2005. In addition to their academic qualifications, Cristina also holds certifications in SHRM-CP from SHRM, obtained in January 2018, and Ethical Leadership from Nonprofit Leadership Alliance.
