Andy Hoover

Andy Hoover serves as the Director of Communications at the ACLU of Pennsylvania, a position held since December 2004, where responsibilities include managing public-facing content, supervising staff, and enhancing strategic communication initiatives. Previous roles include Legislative Director, where significant legislative advocacy was performed, and Community Organizer, focused on grassroots engagement in central Pennsylvania. Andy has also contributed to academia as an adjunct professor at Penn State University. Educational qualifications include a Master's Degree in Divinity-Buddhism and a Master of Arts in Community Psychology and Social Change, complemented by a Bachelor of Arts in Communications.
