Amanda Meyer

Amanda Meyer currently serves as a Senior Staff Attorney in the Racial Justice Program at the ACLU, a position held since December 2022. Prior to this role, Amanda worked as an Assistant Attorney General in the Civil Rights Bureau of the New York State Office of Attorney General from November 2018 to November 2022. Amanda directed legal strategy and policy at the Center for Public Research and Leadership at Columbia from January 2018 to November 2018, and served as an Associate Attorney at Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP from October 2015 to January 2018. Earlier in career, Amanda clerked for the Southern District of New York from October 2014 to October 2015 and for the Second Circuit Court of Appeals from August 2013 to September 2014. Educational credentials include a Juris Doctor from Columbia Law School, a Master of Science in Secondary Education from Pace University, and a Bachelor of Arts from The University of Texas at Austin.
