Amber Hikes

Amber Hikes is the current Chief Equity & Inclusion Officer at ACLU. Amber has previous experience working as the Executive Director of the Office of LGBT Affairs for the City of Philadelphia, as well as a Director for Upward Bound at both California State University, Long Beach and the University of Pennsylvania. Amber Hikes also interned at Equality Advocates Pennsylvania in their Youth Law Project.

Amber Hikes received their Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania and their Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Delaware.

They are on a team with Robert Remar - Vice President, Secretary & Treasurer, Dorothy M. Ehrlich - Deputy Executive Director, and Yasmin Cader - Deputy Legal Director & Director of the Trone Center for Justice and Equality. Amber Hikes reports to Anthony D. Romero, Executive Director.
