Jennifer Wedekind

Jennifer Wedekind serves as a Senior Staff Attorney at the ACLU, a position held since August 2018, after previously serving as a Staff Attorney. Prior experience includes roles as a Trial Attorney in the Civil Rights Division of the U.S. Department of Justice from January 2016 to August 2018 and multiple positions at the American Civil Liberties Union of the Nation's Capital from November 2012 to January 2016, including Staff Attorney and Special Projects Counsel. Earlier engagements include a Litigation Fellowship at the ACLU National Prison Project and reporting roles at Multinational Monitor, Guardian Unlimited, and Mother Jones. Jennifer Wedekind holds a BS in Journalism from Northwestern University and a JD, cum laude, from Georgetown University Law Center.
