Gabriel Casique

International Resources Subcommittee For Latin America at ACM SIGGRAPH

Gabriel Casique is a seasoned professional in computer graphics and software engineering, currently serving as the International Resources Subcommittee for Latin America at ACM SIGGRAPH since February 2017, where responsibilities include promoting developments in art and science related to computer graphics and coordinating talks for the annual conference. As the Founder and CEO of Garphic United since July 2014, Gabriel has developed a social network for the computer graphics community. Previous experience includes roles as a Senior Software Engineer at JK Moving Services and BairesDev, focusing on microservices and front-end development respectively, and as an Autodesk Certified Instructor at Arts Instituto de Computación Gráfica, where course design and teaching were primary duties. Educational qualifications include an Engineer's degree in Computer Engineering from Universidad Simón Bolívar and extensive studies in computer graphics and design.
