Echeyde Cubillo

Co-Founder & Chief Technology Officer at ACME Technologies

Echeyde Cubillo is the Co-Founder & Chief Technology Officer at ACME Technologies. Echeyde has over fifteen years of experience in the tech industry, having worked as a software architect at both Yahoo and eBay before co-founding Singlefeed, an e-commerce platform, in 2010.

At Singlefeed, Cubillo led the engineering team and was responsible for product strategy and planning. Echeyde oversaw a complete rewrite of the technology to a scalable, event-driven Java back end in conjunction with Ruby on Rails front ends. This improved uptime from daily outages to 99.99%. After the acquisition, Cubillo stayed on with Vendio as their Lead Engineer through Bix acquisition as co-founder. Echeyde left in March 2009 to join ACME Technologies.

At ACME Technologies, Cubillo is responsible for leading the engineering team and providing technical vision for the company. Echeyde remains an active contributor to open source projects and is a recognized expert in Java development and cloud computing.

Echeyde Cubillo received a MS in Computer Sciences & Applied Math from Université Paris Dauphine - PSL.

They are on a team with Shawn Sieck - VP of Global Sales, Rebecca Notowitz - Financial Controller, and Erin Hunter - Head of Product. Echeyde Cubillo reports to Bill Shaughnessy, Chief Executive Officer, and Board Member.
