Frances Mariani has a diverse work experience spanning various communication and marketing roles. Frances is currently the Head of Stakeholder & Government Communications at ACMI, where they work closely with the CEO and Executive team to establish effective communication with external stakeholders. Prior to this, Frances served as the Head of Communications at ACMI, delivering media and communications outcomes to support the organization's brand objectives. Frances has also worked as a Senior Communications Advisor at the Department of Jobs, Precincts and Regions, a Communications & Marketing Manager at the Australian International Documentary Conference (AIDC), and a Media Officer at the National Gallery of Victoria. Additionally, Frances has held roles as a Sessional Tutor at the University of Melbourne, a PR & Communications Coordinator at William Angliss Institute, and a Senior Publicist at Asha Holmes Publicity. Their experience also includes positions as a Media Officer at the National Gallery of Victoria, a Digital Communications Officer at Creative Victoria, and a Marketing & Communications Project Officer at VicRoads.
Frances Mariani completed a Film & Television Foundations program at Victorian College of the Arts in 2015. From 2003 to 2004, they pursued a Graduate Diploma in Journalism at La Trobe University. Earlier, from 1995 to 1998, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Media Studies from the same university.
