Farnoosh Azadi

Farnoosh Azadi has extensive work experience in the technology industry, with a focus on engineering and leadership roles.

Starting in 2011, Farnoosh worked as a Campus Ambassador for IBM. In this role, they represented the company on their college campus.

In 2012, Farnoosh founded their own venture called Plan.Me, which aimed to revolutionize trip planning by incorporating social elements. However, this venture lasted only a few months.

Later in 2012, Farnoosh joined Infosys as a Systems Engineer, where they worked on semantic search, natural language processing, and information retrieval using Java Libraries like Lucene.

In 2013, Farnoosh joined Sokrati, India's leading ad technology and analytics company. They held various software design engineer roles, progressing from Level 2 to Level 5. At Sokrati, Farnoosh built proprietary algorithms to manage performance-driven marketing spends.

In 2017, Farnoosh joined Samagra, a governance and development consulting entity. They served as a Technology Lead, combining management consulting with technology and data expertise to create scalable impact in the governance ecosystem.

Since 2018, Farnoosh has been working at Acquia, a company that helps transform digital strategies through an open cloud platform. They started as a Senior Engineering Manager and progressed to Director of Engineering, and currently hold the position of Senior Director of Engineering.

Farnoosh Azadi holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Information Technology from Maharashtra Institute of Technology. They also have a C.B.S.E. 10th Standard Certification from New Era High School, Panchgani, and a C.B.S.E. 12th Standard Certification in Science- Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics from Sanjeewan Vidyalaya, Panchgani. Additionally, Farnoosh has obtained certifications in Web Component Development Using Java Technologies from NIIT & Sun, as well as MTA certifications in Networking and Security from Microsoft.
